Peter Riordan
Estate Planning Consultant
My years supporting families has shown me how individual they all are, each with their own needs, experiences and challenges. Whether the priority is to safeguard the family’s future through trust planning, long-term care needs, or reduce the burden of inheritance tax, no two families are ever the same. Working alongside other professional partners my aim is to provide clear, factual guidance towards achieving those goals.
Now I want to share my knowledge and experience through a unique and thoughtful approach. As a subscribing member, you’ll receive a detailed publication each month covering a different subject designed to grow your knowledge step by step — so you can plan your estate with clarity and confidence.
For the cost of a latte each month members will receive a new issue which includes real case examples. Members will learn what the legal jargon means, taxation rules and how to make advance plans. All the subject matters contained in our services menu will be covered with no long term obligations, you can simply cancel at anytime.
All we ask is that you subscribe each month and in return we will send your learning material for you to refer to when needed. Our aim is to provide some clarity based on current laws with updates when legislation changes, in an affordable way. The proposal is simple, by sharing our knowledge with members we are able to reach more people in the same amount of time rather than connecting individually, keeping costs down and the small membership fee contributes to our ongoing expenses. In addition to this, as a member you will be entitled to discounts on our various services, but there is no obligation. Our purpose is to educate, inspire confidence and improve our members awareness
By working together, we can secure your legacy on your terms
Why Get-The-Facts ?
Helping You Understand Before You Commit
Dealing with legal or complex financial matters can feel overwhelming. The unfamiliar language, the volume of paperwork, and the associated costs can make it difficult to know where to start. When you work with a professional, you’re not just paying for their time—you’re paying for the years of experience and expertise that ensure everything is handled correctly and your interests are protected.
It’s normal for a professional to explain the process, outline what’s involved, and use terminology that may be unfamiliar. Translating this into clear, understandable information is an essential part of the service, but it can also take time—varying from person to person depending on their level of understanding.
By being prepared with the right information, you can help streamline this process, reduce the time spent on explanations, and ultimately minimise some of the costs involved.
Why Being Informed Matters
When we meet people for the first time, they often come with an urgent concern that needs attention. Before we can make progress, I need to understand their current level of knowledge and what they already know. This usually involves explaining legal terms, outlining processes, and clarifying how certain decisions may affect them and their families.
Many people have a general idea of what they need to do, but often delay taking action because their understanding is limited. Unfortunately, this can mean missing opportunities or reaching a point where certain options are no longer available. With a small amount of forward planning—and the right guidance—many of these issues can be avoided entirely.
